We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. For example, we host our store on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. All your data is stored through Shopify's data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. All data is stored behind a firewall on a secure server and is encrypted using SSL technology, so your personal information is processed safely. Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights. 


If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify processes your credit card details and is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. Please note, we do not store any sensitive information such as credit card numbers or any other such information for security purposes. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers. 


Magical Wool will not disclose any of your information to any third parties except in a situation where it is part of providing a service to you. This includes arranging for a product to be sent to you (such as postal services), carrying out security checks and for the purposes of customer research or when you have given us permission to do so. Overall, third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us. Please note that certain providers may be in or have facilities that are located in a different jurisdiction than either you or us. Once you leave our store’s website or are redirected to a third-party website (such as processing the payment via PayPal express) you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.

We recognise that social media such as Facebook & Instagram offers for our company to perform marketing, stay connected with customers and build our presence online. If you reach out to us via social media, you consent and allowing for us to reach back out to you. Interactions can be defined as liking, retweeting, tagging or posting. From this interaction, we may collect data that would help enhance your experience with us in the future. Furthermore, if you tag us in a photograph that we rate, you may be lucky enough for us to share it across our website and social media accounts. We take precautions and follow industries best practices to make sure it is not appropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. We also prevent unauthorised access or disclosure and put in place procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect from you.
